Eight Months

The Farm

What joy to have my ripe, smiling, tired boy back home.

I'm so thankful to the parent chaperone who took pictures, giving us parents a glimpse at the farm adventure our children had at Geercrest.

Learning Bocce,

The homestead, built in 1848,

Some grazers,

 

Xeres, one of the milking goats,

Felted Class Project,

Laying hens,

Rainbow of eggs,

Princess Pea,

Mucking the barn,

  

Learning to milk,

All done! Must be tough having so many little novice hands working those udders!

James had a fabulous time. He reports mucking the barns was the grossest,  his favorite goat was Twix, and he likes oatmeal best least with goat's milk.
